The Vergnano Academy exceeds all boundaries to bring the tradition of coffee abroad. Because coffee is an art that cannot be improvised, it is dictated by precise rules that Caffè Vergnano teaches during courses held in their premises throughout the world.

Academy born at the end of 2013, a point of reference for South East Asia, the Malaysian Academy is managed in collaboration with our distributor AsiaEuro Wines & Spirits.

A room entirely dedicated to the culture of espresso, but which also presents the most important innovations regarding equipment and trends in the world of coffee, coming from Australia and Indonesia.

As it happens in all our Academies in the world, the courses are held by a Master Trainer (Eddy Lau), SCAE II level qualified, formed by our Vergnano Academy Master Trainer Damian Burgess. The most popular and successful courses, open to all – distributors and final customers – are “Professional Barista” and “Latte Art” and use the top 1882 Espresso blend in large tin. The South East Asian market is growing quickly in espresso-based preparations.

A reference market for Caffè Vergnano for more than 15 years, the Greek market is among the top five for turnover and size. The Academy in Athens, founded in April 2014, was established to answer the growing request to enter the world of coffee by a clientele that is very attentive to quality and who strongly believes in the culture of a good espresso.

The Greek Academy, as well as proposing the traditional courses, comes close to the needs of the local market and organises the “Cold cappuccino and cold espresso” course, to teach students how to prepare the most in vogue beverages in Greece excellently.

The Academy also aims to present both baristas and the final clients our most prestigious blends. The Athens Academy works in collaboration with our distributor, George Trikas, TRK.

Founded in early 2014, the Academy in Warsaw, supporting a project of distribution in the Polish market that was born in 1999, with the precious collaboration of our distributor Espresso Service.

At the moment, the Polish market is one of the most important, thanks to a good work carried out over the years and a recognition of our company as a manufacturer of high quality products.

Particularly accustomed to tea consumption and the preparation of Turkish coffee, the Polish market – also thanks to our Academy – starts to know and appreciate Italian espresso, explained and supported through special courses. The Academy’s didactic offer is vast and is gaining success with the main public as well as professionals.
